target audience

i've been thinking about who the target audience for my music video is. not only the video though, i need to think about an audience that will buy the dvd and cd. i'm a big fan of P.O.D so when i think of what the audience would look like, i think of me. they would wear t-shirts and baggie trousers. they'd wear hoodies and skate trainers. hobbies would include adrenaline ridden sports such as surfing and skateboarding.

i think the audience is mostly male. at gigs, the fan base is definatly male. they would be mostly middle class. so they'd be well off but not wealthy. they'd hang out in the streets. spend most of there time outside. home would be used as a hotel. they'd spent time with there friends at the skatepark maybe.

my audience probably don't go out and buy cd's. most people i know download music. but if theres a band i really like, i'll buy the cd. my audience would buy p.o.d's cd. dedicated fans.
